Property from a California Estate

DIAMOND AND COLORED DIAMOND PENDANT-NECKLACE

Suspending a pendant-brooch designed as a flower, the stem and petals set with marquise-shaped and square-cut diamonds of yellow hue, further set with round and marquise-shaped diamonds, on a pink gold chain set with round diamonds of pink hue, length 16 inches.


Please note that the diamonds of yellow and pink hue have not been tested for natural origin of color.

Condition Report

In good condition, the metal with light scratches commensurate with wear, not noticeable when worn. The pendant-brooch stamped Plat and 18k for 18 karat (yellow) gold, also stamped NM; the chain stamped 750 for 18 karat (pink) gold. The near colorless diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.80 carat, are approximately H-I color, VS clarity. The diamonds of yellow hue, ranging in color from light yellow to medium orange-yellow, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.30 carats, are approximately SI-I1 clarity. The diamonds of pink hue are medium light pink to slightly purplish pink, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.80 carat, with approximately VS-SI clarity, with a few I examples. Pendant-brooch length approximately 1¼ inches. Please note that the diamonds of yellow and pink hue have not been tested for natural origin of color.
