A later printing signed by Mitchell, "Margaret Mitchell Atlanta Ga Nov 17 1936". Affixed to the rear endpapers is a November, 1936 TLS on Georgia Power Company letterhead from Mitchell's husband John Marsh, notifying the recipient that a signed copy was on its way, but oddly speculating that the work might disappoint some new readers as it has been so highly praised.
