Duffy, to Mr Hughes, in the third person, inviting him to the Commons, 2 pages, "Monday morning"; Squire Bancroft, theatre manager, to Mr Clayton, 2 pages, n.d.; Sir Edward Grey, sending a photograph, 3 October 1927, with envelope; Heinrich Wölfflin, historian, in German, 1 page, 4to, 2 November 1930; General H.J.E. Olga Novikoff was a Russian journalist and vociferous proponent of pan-Slavism, so had supported Gladstone over the Bulgarian question in the 1870s.
