An archive of over 240 photographs of Winston Churchill. [mostly 1930s-50s, some earlier and later]

over 240 vintage press photographs (from 200 x 150mm. to 380 x 280mm., or the reverse) issued by various agencies (Topical, Associate, Keystone View, Centre Press, Photographic News, Graphic Photo Union, Planet News, Pictorial Press etc.) by various photographers (including portraits by Walter Stoneman FRPS, Bertram Park, Karsh of Ottawa and Cecil Beaton), most with photo agency stamps and captions on the reverse and from the Daily Telegraph or Evening Standard newspaper archives, many stamped with dates of publication, together with an original pen and ink cartoon (280 x 200mm.) by "Kem" of Churchill at the despatch box in parliament, each preserved in a modern protective sleeve, housed in two folding boxes, some photographs with cropping or re-touching marks on the images, a few with tears or wear

A LARGE COLLECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS OF CHURCHILL, mostly documenting his public life as a politician with political and military figures, both at home and overseas, and with members of the royal family, his wife, some showing him at leisure and with portraits of Churchill in his study and related images.
