Description

George Segal (American, 1924-2000).

This centerpiece was inspired by a still life by Cezanne and manufactured in Limoges, France. The unglazed porcelain is suggestive of the plaster surfaces of the artist's figurative sculptures. The interior of the pitcher is glazed and may be used as a vase.
