Zenith has been known for precision and accuracy throughout their history. Dating back to the '70s, this present example has seen several iterations. While many are familiar with the 28800 model, this model stands out with the "surf" engraving on the caseback. Surf is the Zenith indicator for water-resistant. This example is simple but durable and perfect for any occasion.

A native New Yorker from a family of connoisseurs, Greg Selch has collected watches for over 20 years, among many other things. Over the years, Selch has become well-known for his passion: “orphan watches” as well as well-worn watches with patina, for which a term has been created: #selchism.

FairThe watch is in overall fair condition with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age. Case has light scratches. Generic strap has light creasing at the interior. Dial has aged with patina. Hands aged with patina. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
