A period oil painting showing a mountainous, desert landscape at dusk, most likely a view of a Santa Ana River tributary in Southern California's Inland Empire, painting the hills and stream in variegating tones of rose, lilac and dusty pink.

Born in Kansas, William Krehm moved to California in the early part of the 1930s, where he established himself as an art teacher in Banning and studied under Dana Bartlett, William T.
