Sailor's double shell valentine from Barbados, West Indies.

  • Typical hinged octagonal shape with two sides.
  • One side with star design within a double circular band, framed by demilune reserves.
  • Other side with central rosebud surrounded by a quadruple band, and an outer edge of various shell groupings.
  • Brass hook and eye latch.
