The lithographs on every page that are nothing less than works of art, with a splash of red for letters and contrast (plus musical endpapers). The colophon reads: "The illustrations in this book are original lithographs drawn by Wanda Gág. Printed in lithography... on paper made especially for this edition." Probably due to its size, not many collectible copies of this title have survived over the years, particularly in such condition.
