Description

Ink on paper sketch by rock and roll legend and Beatles musician, Paul McCartney.

  • A piece of paper with a typed directory of Liverpool City Council schools on the reverse of which Paul McCartney has sketched three male characters. Paul has drawn a 1950s rock n' roll figure adding the word ‘ROCKK!!!’ above it and the words ‘Flippin Right’ below it. Paul has added the letters 'G, G, O, M, M, AN, G, G, O' above the lower drawing.
  • The sketches date to the late 1950s when Paul was a student at Liverpool Institute between 1953 and 1960. 
  • Comes with Frank Caiazzo certificate of authenticity, who is a lead authenticator of Beatles signatures.
