Murano sommerso glass ashtray by Golden Crown E & R Italy.

  • Octagon form.
  • Cut facets show inner cobalt and yellow colors.
  • Retains original manufacturer stickers.
  • Sommerso is the glassmaking technique of creating two or more layers of contrasting glass without the colors mixing together.
  • The technique was originally developed in the 1930s and later made famous by the work of Flavio Poli.
