Description

A one-page letter in the hand of Marc Bolan that was sent to the BBC disc jockey John Peel during T-Rex’s first American tour in 1969.

  • Marc has signed the letter at the end and he has drawn a facial doodle next to his name.
  • The letter reads: "to John things look very nice, were just about to Fly to San Francisco + do the First gig. Their playing the Commercial on all the stations. Its everso funny here I’ll write a lot, both June + I miss you very much bob also sends his love x Marc."
  • The letter is written on Bob Krasnow letterhead paper.
  • Krasnow founded Blue Thumb Records, the label that T-Rex were signed to in the USA.
  • This work is presented unframed.
