• Cover has applied gilt medallion with dramatic phoenix in low relief.
• Box and cover interior lined with stained-wood.
• Stand has wide and tapering shoulder and flat well border with open stained-wood bottom.
• Marked in Kanji (Chinese character adapted by Japanese).
