Description

A concert poster for a performance by Joy Division in 1979, signed by the designer, Jon Savage.

  • Designed by Jon Savage (English, born 1953).
  • Produced for a performance taking place at The Factory, Russell Club, Manchester on the 13th of July, 1979.
  • This work is presented unframed.


Around 450 people attended the concert where the group performed tracks including Dead Souls, Insight, Shadowplay, Disorder and Transmission. It has been signed in the lower right corner by music and cultural critic, Jon Savage, who designed the artwork.
