Description
Zenith has been known for precision and accuracy throughout the company's history. The demand for dive watches grew in the 1960s with the surge of a growing aquatic sport, scuba diving. While many anticipated an obvious air tank and swimsuit as key gear, a timepiece became a necessary accessory to achieve success, as it is essential to keep track of depth and time elapsed under water. With this in mind, they created the "Big Lemon" with its eye-catching dial and bezel for ease to divers.
Honest Vintage: The Greg Selch Collection
A native New Yorker from a family of connoisseurs, Greg Selch has collected watches for over 20 years, among many other things. Over the years, Selch has become well-known for his passion: “orphan watches” as well as well-worn watches with patina, for which a term has been created: #selchism.
