Description
Vetta was founded in the 1930s as a shortened name for the brand previously known as Wyler Vetta. Founder Paul Wyler's most significant innovation was the creation of the Incaflex balance wheel in 1927 for shock resistance. As a showcase of durability and resistance in their watches, in the 1950s, Wyler showed a timepiece being thrown from the top of the Eiffel Tower and landing unaffected.

FairThe watch is in overall fair condition with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall fair condition with moderate surface wear. Generic strap is in good condition. Dial and hands show againg with patina. Hands with some discoloration. Caseback is in good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
