Description
Tudor was established in 1926 by the founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf. With Tudor, Wilsdorf aimed to produce more affordable timepieces that paralleled Rolex’s standards of reliability and quality. Today, Tudor watches are celebrated for their high-precision movements, contemporary look and value for money.
The Tudor Black Bay Bronze is a relatively new addition to the Tudor Black Bay collection, which was first introduced in 2012. The collection was inspired by Tudor's diving watches from the 1950s and 1960s and features vintage design elements, such as domed dials and "snowflake" hands. The Black Bay Bronze was introduced in 2016 and quickly gained popularity for its unique bronze case, which develops a unique patina over time, giving each watch a distinctive look. Bronze was historically used in diving equipment due to its resistance to saltwater corrosion, making it a fitting material for a dive watch.
This Heritage Black Bay Bronze Reference 79250BM is a bronze automatic wristwatch, circa 2018, case in bronze, size in diameter 43 mm, automatic movement with caliber MT5601. Water resistance approximately 200 meters. Power reserve approximately 70 hours. Dial in rich brown color, complemented by gold-tone accents and luminescent hour markers, making it easy to read in low-light conditions. Hands are coated with a generous layer of SuperLuminova, providing excellent visibility even in complete darkness. This watch comes with paper only.

GoodThe watch is in overall good condition. Case has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has heavy signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case back has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
