Vacheron Constantin is one of the oldest watch manufacturers that dates back to 1755 when Jean-Marc Vacheron set up his workshop in Geneva. Francois Constantin joined the firm in 1974. This partnership ushered in a multitude of exceptional complications and innovations including the invention of the winding crown. Vacheron Constantin is officially the oldest watch company in Switzerland as it was established in 1755. From then on, Vacheron Constantin has striven to create only the finest, most complicated and beautiful timepieces in the world.

Very GoodThe watch is in overall very good condition with light wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall very good condition with minor surface wear. Strap has minor signs of surface wear. Dial is in overall good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
