The Tank Basculante was first launched in 1933 and caters to athletes who need to protect their watch's dial during games. Unlike the Reverso, which can rotate at a horizontal axis, the Tank Basculante can be flipped vertically as desired. A timepiece representing modernity through its innovative construction, the Basculante remains one of Cartier's most popular designs of the century.
