Description

  • A whimsical hard-carved hall tree attributed to Seilar-Brawant of Brienz, Switzerland.
  • Wonderfully expressive bears with glass eyes and painted mouths.
  • A cub has crawled up the trunk that holds ten branches that act as hooks.
  • A beveled mirror is held in place with carved oak leaves and acorns.
  • At the bottom is an umbrella ring, carved to mimic a tree branch with a removable metal tray.
