Description
American sterling silver butter dish in the form of a Viking longboat.
- Made by Durgin Sterling Silver in Concord.
- Ovoid with looping sternpost and tall and scrolled stem post with notches for holding knives (not included).
- Gilt interior.
- Oval liner with upturned ends, central oval finger ring and ornamental piercing.
- Fully marked including maker’s stamp, Montgomery Bros retailer’s stamp, number 80. Liner and sterling.
