This work has been lined with a non-wax adhesive.
The crimson color at the top of the altar in the upper center and the dark brown around the plant in the lower left have developed cracks, some of which are raised, but there does not appear to be any instability.
Retouches have been added to these cracks; these are quite heavy-handed and could be improved.
It seems that these two colors have developed isolated issues, and the remainder of the painting is in very good condition.
