Original silver gelatin semi-gloss double-weight photograph of the actress Sophia Loren.
- Philippe Halsman (American, 1906-1979).
- Photograph was taken in Rome for the publication Picture Post to use as their cover story on August 13, 1955.
- Window on the back of the frame displays the Philippe Halsman copyright stamp, address, pencil signature and the wording "Sophia Loren 1955," together with a further stamp from Dumout Galleries.
- Photograph conservation framed with obeche wood behind UV plexiglass.
