- In his series on Sisyphus, Bruno Dunley opens a possibility for new interpretations of the abstractions present on the canvas. In alluding to mythological narratives, the works point to a storyline and anchor the works within a historical trajectory, visually disrupting and displacing their meanings, while also allowing for viewers to understand the poetics that lie within Dunley's abstract expression.
