The Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High ‘Jeter’ was released in 2014 at Footaction’s Flight 23 in NYC, and was designed in celebration of Derek Jeter’s retirement from baseball. The Yankees-inspired design includes a navy upper, with gold Jeter branding on the tongue, and pinstripe detailing at the ankle. Additionally, ‘RE2PECT’ text in gold is found on the inside of the tongue. The pair has been signed by Derek Jeter on the left exterior heel and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity by James Spence Authentication. In addition, this item comes with a gold Rawlings baseball, and a transparent display case for the sneakers. 

The Nike Air Jordan 1 is one of the most iconic designs in the history of both streetwear and basketball and is a key part of the origin of the Air Jordan brand for Nike. Designed by Peter Moore, Michael Jordan wore Air Jordan 1s in 1984 and 1985, as well as modified versions in 1986 (after a broken foot Michael endured).
