Description

The first Cartier Santos was introduced in 1904, when Louis Cartier designed it for his aviator friend Alberto Santos-Dumont. The Santos was designed to easily tell time by glancing at it, while the wearer is flying. The Santos became one of the most popular collections in Cartier watchmaking history.

In 2004, Cartier launched a newer version of the Santos collection in celebration of the 100-year anniversary, creating the Santos 100—a bigger version of the classic Santos.
