Description
First introduced in 1992, the Yacht-Master is the second timepiece to be inspired by the nautical environment. After the Submariner was released in 1954, this model comes as an evolution in a more luxurious way with a gold model, larger indexes, a bigger case and bold bezel. It has been a success with the nautical enthusiast and those looking for a chic and sporty model. This is the only Oyster Professional model, available in three different sizes: 37mm, 40mm and 42mm. In 1999, Rolex released a stainless steel version with a 40mm monobloc case, marking the beginning of new and precious materials for the Yacht-Master. During Basel World 2007, Rolex revealed the Yacht-Master II, a larger case of 44mm and a brand new automatic chronograph.
This Rolex Yacht-Master 42mm reference 226679TBR comes with caliber 3235 automatic movement. 18k white gold case with baguette diamond bezel and lugs, with center hour, minute and seconds hands. Instantaneous date with rapid setting. Stop-seconds for precise time setting. Power reserve approximately 70 hours. Folding Oysterlock safety clasp with Rolex Glidelock extension system. This watch comes with a full set of papers and box.

The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
