Description
One of the most recognizable luxury dress watches ever to be created, very few timepieces come close to the legendary status of the Rolex Datejust. Due to the watches very long production run, it was bound to have multiple variations. The present watch offered here today boasts a steel and gold Oyster case with agray pie-pan dial of this example is in amazing condition. All the lume plots are present and have aged to a rich and warm yellow color.
Condition Report
Very GoodWatch is in very good condition with light signs of wear.
Case has been lightly polished in the past. The numbers are visible between the lugs and there are signs of the bracelet to the back of the lugs. The inside case back is stamped 1601 and has watchmaker's marks.
Dial is in excellent condition and the lume in the hands and on the dial have aged to a warm yellow color.
Bracelet is in good condition with some signs of wear and is later.
Movement is running at time of cataloguing; however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
