Produced for approximately 9 months, the reference 168000 is a transitional model between the 16800 and the 11610 references. It uses upgraded stainless steel (904L instead of 316L) and that is the only real difference between this model and its predecessor. Due to the extremely short window of production, this is a rare and desirable Sub model.
Condition Report
GoodThe watch is in overall good condition with a strong and proportional case that has been lightly polished in the past. The case shows normal signs of wear, commensurate with age. The numbers are crisp between the lugs. The bezel insert is a service replacement in good condition with some scratches. The dial and hands are in good condition. There are some small spots of damage to the edge of the dial, notably at 6 and 9 o'clock. The bracelet has stretch and shows signs of wear and polishing. The clasp is dented. The movement is working at the time of cataloging. The quick-set date isn't working and a service is required to fix it.
