Description
The present yellow gold example, reference 16528, is sure to prove extremely attractive to discerning collectors. Featuring a very strong case with crisp hallmarks, it comes fitted with a Mk. 3 dial, as can be seen by the presence of “Officially Certified” text in combination with “inverted 6” in the bottom sub dial. This is the last of the early dial configuration of Zenith Daytonas, before the “inverted 6” was flipped.
Condition Report
Very GoodThe dial is in very good condition, with the hands and lumes reacting evenly to UV, fading quickly. The case with surface wear throughout and some minor polishing. but retains crisp hallmarks and is well proportioned. The bracelet with surface wear and is stretched. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
