  • Open rectangular seat backs and seat on straight, square legs.
  • Originally designed for the theatrical production of "Cosmopolitan Greetings" in 1988, a jazz opera created as a collaborative work between the poet Allen Ginsberg, composers George Gruntz and Rolf Liebermann, and designer Robert Wilson, narrating the life of jazz musician Bessie Smith.
