Description

George Pearse Ennis (American 1884-1936).

Framed idealized river scene with four figures.


Ennis studied in New York at the Chase School of Art under William Merritt Chase, and later became a founding member of the Grand Central Painters and Sculptors Gallery and taught at the gallery's School of Art.
