Wooden plaque with engraved brass plate that was presented to Ringo Starr on behalf of The Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California.

  • Sold as a set of 2.
  • Each member of The Beatles was presented with a plaque; set includes a modern photograph of The Beatles holding their respective plaques.
  • Plaque presented at an event organized by the head of Capital Records, Alan W. Livingston, in appreciation of The Beatles' appearance at the Meet The Beatles charity garden party in Brentwood, California, on August 24, 1964.
  • The event took place one day after the group’s concert at the Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, California.
  • Ringo’s plaque was sold as lot 651 in the Julien’s Auction of Property from the Collection of Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach in December 2015, original auction lot tag is attached to the reverse.
