Description
In the early 1940s, Breitling provided aviation instruments with precision, reliability and logic. Its HUIT Aviation department supplied the British Royal Air Force among many others. Willy Breitling intuitively recognized that people have a desire for products that radiate elegance and glamour. Ever since, Breitling has produced numerous elegant chronographs as well as distinctive collections. In 1943, Breitling launched its premier collection with the versatility and sportiness that distinguishes all Breitlings. This newer generation duograph with its split second complication is powered by the B15 caliber and preserves some of the distinctive features of the vintage premier watches and elegance.

NewThe watch is in new and excellent condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
