Description
Georges-Édouard Piaget felt a passion for watchmaking from a young age; in 1874 at only 19, he set up his first workshop on the family farm. Here, he dedicated himself to creating high-precision movements and components. In 1959, the first "Salon Piaget" was launched in Geneva. It was created to be a welcoming place where Piaget could share its creativity and savoir-faire by showing the first of Piaget's luxury jewelry creations alongside refined timepieces. Geneva also became home to Piaget's ateliers that specialized in goldsmithing and gem-setting, meaning the Maison could master every aspect of the production of fine pieces.
This Vintage Piaget reference 4286 C626 is a yellow gold and diamond-set bracelet watch with mother of pearl dial, circa 1995. Mother-of-pearl dial with pavé-set diamond center. Mechanical hand-winding movement. 18k yellow gold and case back secured by 4 screws. 18k yellow gold and diamond-set Piaget bracelet and clasp. This watch comes with a box.
Condition Report
GoodThe watch is in overall good condition. The mother-of-pearl dial is nice and intact. All diamonds are intact. The watch has minor surface wear to the case visible with the naked eye. The bracelet is in likewise condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
