Description
The Patek Phillipe perpetual calendar chronograph line is perhaps the most legendary and hallowed of any collection. It has broken numerous auction records and remained one of the most coveted Grand Complications of all time. From the first reference 1518 in 1941 until this day, the aesthetic has been outstanding as the design was already perfected 80 years ago. The present reference 5270 is the manufacturer’s latest version of the collection but still pays homage to the earlier references by adopting squared pushers and stepped lugs. The present version is the "First Series", sought after and easily identifiable by its two-tone dial.
Condition Report
Very GoodThe watch is in very good condition with minor signs of wear to the case. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
