Description
The perpetual calendar chronograph is arguably Patek Philippe's most hallowed complications configuration, with the 3970 appearing as one of the most desirable of the family in recent years. The present configuration features the highly sought after black dial, also set with diamonds, within the waterproof sub-reference 3970E.
Condition Report
The watch is in very good condition, with light signs of wear to the case but sharp fluting to the lugs and 2 crisp hallmarks. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
