Legend has it that Gérald Genta conceptualized the Nautilus watch within a matter of minutes while observing a luxurious dinner with Patek Philippe executives in a restaurant. This occurred during the challenging period of the 1970s quartz watch crisis. Despite its quick inception, the Nautilus design has stood the test of time and enjoyed over 40 years of success.
This unworn model is the present reference 7118 and combines a striking silver dial with all-steel construction. Includes box and papers.
