Introduced in 2013, the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712G-001 marked the first year of production in white gold, expanding the 5712 family beyond its earlier offerings in stainless steel (5712/1A), rose gold (5712R), and platinum (5712P). This inaugural-year example represents the very beginning of the reference’s story, a detail that carries special weight for collectors who prize early production pieces.
Unlike the integrated bracelet models, the 5712G is paired with a leather strap, giving it a more refined and understated presence while maintaining the iconic Nautilus design language. The combination of a white gold case and dark slate dial enhances its elegance, making this configuration both distinctive and especially collectible among Nautilus variants.

The watch is in overall very good condition and presents beautifully with no obvious surface marks visible to the unaided eye. Strap shows signs of wear. Prior service history is unknown. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
