A distinctive and sought‑after neo‑vintage Nautilus, the Reference 3710/1A‑001 reintroduced the collection’s larger 42mm “Jumbo” proportions and became the first Nautilus to feature a complication, debuting its signature arc‑shaped power‑reserve display. Produced from 1998 to 2006, the model is instantly recognizable for its unconventional matte black dial with applied Roman numerals and its unique “Comet” indicator beneath 12 o’clock. With its atypical layout, lowered signature, and smooth dial replacing the traditional embossed pattern, the 3710 stands apart as one of the most unusual and collectible steel Nautilus variants. A meaningful bridge between the original 3700 and the later generation of complicated Nautilus references, it remains a prized choice for collectors seeking rarity and character.
