Description
In 2006, Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5140 as a replacement for the previous reference 3940. Despite retaining the automatic perpetual calendar movement, caliber 240 Q, the case size was increased from 36 mm to a more modern 37 mm. The dial design was also updated for better legibility and to align with other Patek Philippe's contemporary pieces. Combining the iconic Calatrava case and functionality, the stylish reference 5140 became highly desirable. Patek Philippe discontinued the reference 5140 in 2016 and replaced it with the reference 5327, still in production today. This model features a beautiful rose gold colored dial and is offered in excellent condition. Includes presentation in a non-Patek Philippe box.

Very GoodThe watch is in overall very good condition with light wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall good condition with minor surface wear. Strap has minor signs of surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Dial is in overall good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
