Description
A gem from the early 20th century, the present pocket watch is in a hunting case style with cover. It features a monopusher chronograph via a button at 12 o'clock, with a pulsation scale on the exterior edge of the enamel dial.
The watch comes with an extract from the archives.
Condition Report
The enamel dial is nice and intact. The case is in excellent overall condition considering its age with surface wear. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Please be advised that bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) cannot be shipped outside the country of sale. If these watches are purchased outside of Hong Kong, we will replace with calf leather bands prior to shipping. This item ships from Hong Kong; applicable import duties, taxes, or fees may be assessed by the destination country. Domestic alternatives may be available.
Please note that this item is final sale and not eligible for return.
