Details
Description
The annual calendar is a highly practical complication, only needing to be set once per year (and not needing to be set at all during leap years), provided the watch remains wound. The present execution belongs to a very early batch of the reference 5037, still featuring a tritium handset.
Condition Report
The watch is in very good condition with light signs of surface wear, but retains strong proportions and 4 clear hallmarks. The hands react to UV evenly, fading quickly. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Please note that this item is final sale and not eligible for return.
