Description
First introduced in the 1960s, the Rolex reference 6694 in particular is a special watch. While many are familiar with the Oyster case and perpetual automatic winding mechanism, the replacement of the “Perpetual” label in its name points to the fact that it was one of the rare examples from Rolex that were not self-winding. The 6694 is a “Precision” model—it also is one of the few vintage Rolex that is not “Chronometer Certified.”

ReviveThe watch is heavily worn throughout and is in need of restoration. Case is in overall fair condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has moderate signs of stretch, scratches, and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has moderate signs of scratches. Dial has signs of being pitted. Hands have signs of pitting. Crystal has signs of scratches. Caseback has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
