Description
Paul Jeannin Bourquin was the founder of Numa Jeannin SA, in Fleurier, Switzerland. Numa Jeanning SA was named after Paul's son, and in January 1926, the brand name was changed and registered to Olma. At the time, Olma focused only on producing pocket watches. In 1942, Olma and Numa teamed up to create their own movements for the upcoming timepieces. The brand was successful in sealing its movement and adorning the word "waterproof" on the caseback of the timepiece, which caught the audience's attention.
Honest Vintage: The Greg Selch Collection
A native New Yorker from a family of connoisseurs, Greg Selch has collected watches for over 20 years, among many other things. Over the years, Selch has become well-known for his passion: “orphan watches” as well as well-worn watches with patina, for which a term has been created: #selchism.
