Throughout his career with the Phoenix Suns, All-Star guard Devin Booker has consistently paid tribute to Kobe Bryant by wearing his signature sneakers on court. Offered here is a special Player Exclusive edition of the Zoom Kobe 1 Protro, created specifically for Booker. The pair is dressed in a Phoenix Suns–inspired colorway, with a striking purple patent leather upper and an orange Swoosh. Further details include an orange “1” embroidered on the lateral heel and a “Suns” tab stitched onto the tongue.

Booker later honored this very colorway when he received his own signature model, the Nike Book 1. Revealed during a game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the sneaker featured the same bold purple patent leather upper and orange Swoosh, directly referencing his 2018 Kobe 1 Protro PE. In doing so, Booker reinforced the deep connection between his on-court identity, the Suns’ team colors, and Kobe Bryant’s enduring legacy.

Notably, Booker joins a small group of players, including DeMar DeRozan and Isaiah Thomas, who were gifted their own Kobe PEs.
