Description
According to Nike, the Nike Kobe A.D. Derozan PE is inspired by "DeMar DeRozan’s memory of watching Kobe Bryant play against Utah Jazz in the 1997 playoffs. Bryant’s 'airball game' taught the legend to deal with adversity, and showed DeRozan that resilience was key to success on the court."
The date of the match is featured on the lace tips (12 May 1997), and the street DeRozan grew up on in Compton is featured on the insoles. The Kobe signature and DNA logo are featured on the heels, and the Kobe logo is on both tongues. The logos provide the boost of color to the white and grey upper and soles.
