Description
The Americas is one of only five styles enshrined in the center display case in the Steve Prefontaine Hall at the Nike Museum in Nike World Headquarters. This style is one of the original track spike styles released by Nike in 1973.
- A mid ’70s model of the Americas in red "Swoosh Fiber" nylon and suede uppers, white Swoosh logo, and blue heel tab with bold Nike lettering.
- Insoles feature red and blue Spenco sockliners.
- The first lowercase cursive Nike logo tongue tags.
- Four-spike plate with cone-covered soles for traction.
- Nike Spikes advertisement and original shoe box included.
