Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) was a ‘sneakerhead’ long before the term became mainstream. He started collecting sneakers in 1990 and amassed close to 900 pairs before his passing in 2009. His sister auctioned off each pair, one at a time. He was known for both his DJ skills and premier sneaker collection. 

These custom Air Force 1's were designed by New York artist and muralist Andre Trenier who rose to fame through his large artworks across cities in America and Europe. The sneakers feature graphic artwork of record disks across the various panels and 'AM' artwork on the lateral heel.
