Nicolas Briganti (American, 1861-1944).
This work is offered framed.
Active in Massachusetts between 1893 and 1897, Nicolas Briganti painted luminous rural landscapes of bucolic scenes as well as figural works. Briganti exhibited at the New Bedford Art Club, where he lived and worked as a drawing instructor at the New Bedford Business University. Briganti's work is held in private and public collections, including the collection of the New Bedford Public Library.
